Im a DIY guy who recently moved to the area and lost access to many of my tools. Went in for just a diagnostic over some shaking in the front end and got turned away in the PARKING LOT over body rust. My frame is intact and the front end is fine. These dudes are scared of northern cars and wouldnt even give the time of day to try and diagnose under the guise of "not wasting your time and money". Sounds more like "we don't wanna do it" which okay fair, but I already spent the "time" to come up here and put the "money" aside to get diagnostics done and get pointed in the right direction so that I could do it. Got a proper diagnosis elsewhere with no questions asked and just fixed my problem today myself in an hour. Didnt have to mess with the body at all. Couldve been an easy ticket but oh well. Go anywhere else locally. We wont even look/do/try is no way to conduct business.

This was my first time using them, and I am very glad I did. I dropped my car off on a late Monday afternoon, got the notification about the cost and the issue that needed to be fixed on Thursday morning. I actually don't get the chance to approve the work until Thursday afternoon, then got the call an hour later saying my car was ready. Very fast and friendly service, and I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them for all of my cars service.

Took my 2015 Mazda 6 in for much needed service after hitting 100k miles. Easy to make an appointment and Alan provided great customer service. The price was reasonable for quality service. It was done quicker than I expected. My Mazda is running great! They also gave me complimentary use of a rental vehicle. Felt like I was riding around town in a cute little red jelly bean.

Original dealership i bought my legacy from didnt do much in terms of service nor to enforce any confidence. Car never felt right but it went downhill after a year. Couldnt seem to get the handling issues under control however one stop at JMW was all that was needed. Alan is very personable. I scheduled service but had time to bring the car in a day early and they were okay with that. The bill was higher than i anticipated but in hindsight, reasonable for the amount of issues in order to sort the car, the first time. Wish there was another quality place like them close to Thomson!

From the moment I talked to Alan on the phone, he inspired confidence. The whole experience was top shelf. Great communication, he listened with intent and made notes, and even had a good idea of the problem. This was amazing, as I retired from the vehicle repair & maintenance industry & know first hand the importance of great customer service. Now our 13 year old AMERICAN vehicle runs like it was brand new! I get asked frequently about where I would recommend taking vehicles for service & repair. Japanese Motor Works will forever be my answer. They don't JUST work on JAPANESE vehicles. Never miss an opportunity to make the call to inquire about ANY vehicle. Ever. We thank you all.
